Celebrities are one of the busiest casts during elections. There are some who make endorsements by conscience and others by talent fee. Aside from that, a few making noises to express their sentiments about a politician or the whole election itself.
Mystica is one of the most viral now for her mudslinging towards presidential candidate, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte. In a video spreading over the internet, she named Duterter "Digunggong" (derived from Mayor Duterte's nickname 'Digong' and Tagalog term 'gunggong,' means dumb). She also pointed out that the Philippines will experience a regime worse than Ferdinand Marcos' time wherein Martial Law was implemented. Before the video ends, she forcefully cursed while persuading the voters not no elect the Mayor and to think before giving him the vote.
We are all entitled to our opinion. However, enveloped with it is the responsibility to think and make sure that no one will be hurt with our words. Mystica's experience is so tragic and miserable. Her dad and her family deserve justice. She is absolutely right when she mentioned that everyone should think before voting for someone. In spite of that, she should deal with the issue subjectively. The people she's cursing now doesn't have to do with her personal issue.
