The True Story Behind the Tanauan Shooting Incident!

This is the situation where you wouldn’t want to be involved for some reason; the SUV got caught in the middle of a gun duel between two men in Tanauan City, Batangas. The CCTV footage shows us a scene that can be matched from an action movie as the two men exchanges gunfire last March 22, 2016.

The video lasted for about 2 minutes and according to a report from Abante, the Tanauan City Police identified the victim as Restituto Sode, 46-years old, and the suspect Petronilo Lascano both are residents of Brgy. Boot and Bagumbayan.  A Fortuner stopped at the intersection when two gunmen appeared. The shooting continued and the passengers inside Toyota Fortuner decided to escape from the incident and got out of the car one by one.

The guy that was killed in the shootout is Restituto Sode and he was riding in a red Mitsubishi car. The exchange of gunfire lasted for about a minute and Sode went down and taking bullets from the suspect. Immediately, the suspect left the crime scene, leaving the authorities 22 bullet shells from different kinds of guns.
