VIRAL: Mich Liggayu of 'Jamich' is Now Ready to Do Sexy Roles!

Michelle Liggayu, commonly known as Mich in a YouTube sensation couple 'Jamich,' is ready to face everyone with confidence. After her loss when boyfriend Jam Sebastian died of cancer, she had to deal with a rivalry with the guy's family. But Mich remained strong and continued her life, even her show business career. In an interview with Push.ph, she was asked about her relationship with the Sebastian family. She admits: "Ngayon hindi na ako nakakarinig sa side nila. Pero okay naman ako if ever makausap ko sila in the futrue or kung magkita man. Wala namang grudges. Sobrang okaylahat,” she admitted.

Liggayu was recently chosen to be one of the casts in the new horror-comedy movie, Echorsis. She will play the role of a materialistic and burdensome girlfriend of Alex Medina. Mich said in the same interview: "Sobrang excited ako sa screening. Nung in-offer sa akin yung role super excited ako kasi parang nag-step up ako from the usual short films. Ngayon makikita ko na yung sarili ko sa big screen. So I’m super-excited and happy. Actually nung binabasa ko pa lang yung script natatawa na ako tapos nung ginagawa ko na siya nakakatawa talaga. Kasi mabilis akong matawa na tao so parang kailangan ko i-compose yung sarili ko bago ako matawa kasi siyempre i-a-arte ko na siya dapat.”

She also gave compliment to Medina for being her co-star. She mentioned:  "Yung role ko dito is girlfriend ni Alex Medina. Sobrang okay si Alex. Hindi niya pina-feel na parang maging awkward ako.Naging welcome ako sa set,” she recalled. Aside from some guest appearances on TV last year, Michsaid she is getting busy with online projects again. "Ngayon nag-start ako ng bago sa YouTube. Maydalawa na akong short films na nagawa. Yung first is horror siya and then yung isa inspirational short film na puwede niyong mapanuod sa YouTube ko. Ibang...na ngayon.”

The YouTube star also asked her followers for non-stop support. She conveyed: Yung mga supporters ko naman naintindihan naman nila yung mga ginagawa ko sa buhay. Actually excited sila sobra na mapanuod yung Echorsis kasi parang sinasabi nila na nami-miss na nila ako makita. Kayasobrang excited din sila. Looking forward sila na makapanuod nung movie.”

Mich admitted that showbiz career is her priority over love life now. Her goal is to claim her spot in the business this year. "Actually dream ko talaga ever since is makapasok sa showbiz industry so sanakapag may opportunities sana ma-grab ko siya. And sana ma-explore ko yung showbiz industry din. Gusto ko din matutunan pa is yung pag-di-direct. Gusto ko din matutunan yung mga bagay behind the camera kasi passion ko talaga yung paggawa din ng film,” she added.

When she was asked about accepting sexier roles, she answered:  "Hindi ko pa alam pero actually napag-usapan din namin ng family ko and ng iba kong friends na i-try namin. Kumbaga before kasipa-tweetums tweetums, ngayon parang gusto naman nila parang try ko daw mag-step up namansomehow. Pero yung may pagka-wholesome pa rin naman. Yung kumbaga parang coming of age,ganun.” She revealed that she is prepared to take more mature roles, so expect a more daring Mich.

Liggayu also said that she is not choosy when it comes to taking different kinds of roles. She is a big fan of Angel Locsin and her aim is to be a big star as her. "Kahit ano, gusto ko talaga basta sa pag-arte parang lahat gusto ko ma-try. Kasi yun talaga yung passion ko. Like sa Echorsis gusto ko yung horror comedy na-try ko siya. Next time gusto ko ma-try action naman, yung mga ganun,” she mentioned.

Echorsis will be shown on April 13 in cinemas nationwide. Kean Cipriano, John Lapus, Nico Antonio, Bekimon, Chokoleit, and Kiray are also in the film, along with Michelle Liggayu and Alex Medina. :)
